Two charts again today and the first is from a returning top 50-er who has given his story below. For those watching out for the no-vote album tracks, She Bathed Herself In A Bath Of Bleach has now been removed from that list!
I’ve updated my chart since my original entry that was included on your excellent blog on 15/08/13.
The interim period has been a roller coaster in terms of my relationship with the band. (Interesting side point - they are still the only current band that I feel there is a connection to the band, the bond between me and the band’s music is more than just fan and artist).
The highs include on 16-17/12/17, the two days and nights spent in London going to the Roundhouse to see The Holy Bible tour (this is the reason why many of the tracks that didn’t make my first chart are new entries in the updated one as I definitely have a newfound appreciation for those songs).
The second highlight would be going to Newcastle on 6/8/17 to see the band. Two reasons why this was personally special to me was it was a good excuse to spend time with my brother who lives up there (I’m in Coventry so we don’t get together too often).
The other reason this gig was a special memory is that I got to meet a few new friends at the concert, including the delightful @AndDarkWithin.
The third highlight would be on 23/06/19 when my two favourite live bands played 10 minutes from my house! Bon Jovi and the Manics at the Ricoh arena in Cov.
The low point is that due to personal circumstances out of my control I haven’t listened to their recent material as much as I have with previous releases. This is evident is the fact that there’s not a great difference in most of the songs general positions, maybe just moved down spaces to accommodate the occasional climber or new entry but Spoiler Alert the top 9 are as before!
Even though I haven’t listened as much as possible, the Manics remain head & shoulders above every other artist making music at the moment, still producing songs that can move the feet, touch the heart, and get the brain thinking all at the same time. Long may they continue to do this.

Our second chart sees Faster return to the top spot, the top 8 all being from the first three album eras, if like me you attach Judge Yr'self to The Holy Bible. The rest of the chart is spread out more across the whole back catalogue, with only SATT failing to make the cut.
And it's another treat for the no-vote album tracks as Always/Never picks up its first points, leaving only FIVE album tracks waiting to break their duck.
