Manics Top 50s - 26th July 2013

The Manics Top 50s are starting to get going again and another fantastic chart here, this one seems to be coming from a similar direction to mine with a lot of shared choices (mine will be up on the blog by the end of this weekend!).  Also another few more of those no vote songs getting some love!

I floated the idea on Twitter yesterday that once the final chart is published I will ask the contributor(s) that ranked each song the highest in their chart to write a sentence or two on that song.  Willing participants obviously!!!  This will flesh out the fans' chart with memories and thoughts from the people who feel the most for each song.  So everyone will get the chance to comment on their number 1, but probably quite a few others too!!! I will tweet people nearer the time to give you your songs and ask if you're willing to contribute to that part.  If not I will offer the song(s) to the person who voted next highest etc.  It will be published a few weeks after the overall chart to allow everyone to get their contributions in.
